(9,335 posts)My guess is either Cyprus bank, Central Bank of UAE, Qatar Investment Authority, Sberbank (Russia), or one of the four banks owned by the government of China.
One suspect is just as good as any other.
On edit: if I had to pick, it would be Cyprus. Cyprus has a reputation of being a laundromat for Russian dirty money.
On second edit: Wilbur Ross, Trump's Secretary of Commerce, used to be a VP at Bank of Cyprus. He may be singing to Mueller, or under a sealed indictment, or both.

(888 posts)another server that was connected at Margo
another server from a Internet provider located in Pennsylvania that sent packets to this German bank.
Another server from an Internet provider located in Virginia that sent packets to Russia ( don't know if it was St. Petersburg)
all already subpoenaed and confiscated As reported 2 months ago on Rachel, seems like Mueller is on to something, I wonder if it's criminal? We know it's international related, sounds like the racketeers are about to be racked.
Possibilities of secret indictments, tied with Trump losing his mind on twitter, it looks like a storm is brewing.

(49,001 posts)I think he put it in a trust or divested, but I don't think it is owned by Cyprus.

(17,984 posts)Does this mean Schiff and the state AGs can also get copies?
The Velveteen Ocelot
(115,686 posts)That probably means something Russian, Saudi or Chinese.
ProudLib72
(17,984 posts)That's what I want to know because it seems more likely congress will get the info out there and states will be able to bring him down in short order.
The Velveteen Ocelot
(115,686 posts)if they get them, will be given only to the grand jury and will not be made public, at least for now. Mueller might decide to share the info with state AGs if related investigation are going on in those states but congressional committes will probably have to issue their own subpoenas.

The Velveteen Ocelot
(115,686 posts)The company they are looking at is owned by a country.

Plus:
In Spring 2017, Kasowitz told associates that he had been personally responsible for the abrupt dismissal of U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara on March 11, 2017, having previously warned Trump, "This guy is going to get you".
Kasowitz departed Trump's White House legal team on July 20, 2017.
Russian clients
According to U.S. court records, Kasowitz's clients include the Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, a close associate of Vladimir Putin and a business partner of Trump's former campaign manager Paul Manafort. Kasowitz also represents the Russian state-owned bank Sberbank, a bank under sanctions by the EU and the United States after Russia's 2014 annexation of Ukraine's Crimea region.

(1,660 posts)Farther back is Alfa, depending on what is meant by "owned by" a foreign country.
Saudi, Turkish and Chinese companies don't seem as likely as any of those, because they don't have as direct connections to Mueller's mandate.
Roadside Attraction
(238 posts)It's got to be one of four foreign banks Trump uses to launder money from Russia:
-- DeutscheBank
-- Bank of Cyprus
-- Alfa Bank
-- that Russian bank -- E-something
