A top official for President Trump's 2020 campaign said Tuesday that the campaign was preparing to file a lawsuit against former White House communications aide Cliff Sims for violating a nondisclosure agreement (NDA).
"The Trump campaign is preparing to file suit against Cliff Sims for violating our NDA," Michael Glassner, chief operating officer of Donald J. Trump for President Inc., wrote on Twitter.
The remark came the same day Sims's tell-all book, "Team of Vipers," was published.

The Truth Is Here
(354 posts)So the tell-all is going to be Trump's fault, and will end up paying Cliff Sims a lot of money.

(8,445 posts)Maybe a legal expert can answer, but I notice that it's the *campaign* that is threatening legal action. Before Individual 1 got to be President, we didn't *own* him, so I'm wondering if he was allowed to have campaign workers sign one.
If so, maybe Individual 1 thinks that legal pressure on Sims will shut him up, but sadly for Individual 1, the book is already published and distributed.

Sounds like just an intimidation tactic.
