(40,211 posts)This is a developing story, if you ask me.
11:00 am is broad daylight.
The case is under review by the District Attorney, well, I would hope so.
My money is on homicide charges being filed.

(582 posts)With the exception of one really stretched 5/4 interpretation by the Supreme court, the right to bear arms is linked to a well regulated militia. No matter what Thomas Jefferson, who was the original OWS member, every other statement from the founding fathers concerning self protection related to militia or indian attacks, not guns against thieves. When you combine the freewheeling interpretation that free speech forgives all, or the weird interpretation that freedom of religion means you can refuse to give basic medical needs to employees, the real abuse of the constitution is the stretching of the bill of rights out of recognition.

(582 posts)Now what is stupid about my question. Stupid is talking about baseball bats. What is SENSIBLE about comparing loaded guns in the house and automabiles, ropes for suicides, or taking away baseball bats. The whole concept that what is in the 2nd Amendment gives everyone the right to keep firearms is stupid. District of Columbia vs Heller was a stupid interpretation, way up there with Citizens United.

(3 posts)I wonder if the NRA magazine, I don't remember the name, will publish this story in "The Armed Citizen" section they have every month? Half of the stories in there are just like this and they just leave out the "questionable" parts anyway.
