Trump asks China to remove tariffs on US farm products

President Donald Trump says he has asked China to remove its tariffs on U.S. farm products such as pork and beef.

Trump tweets that removing the tariffs “is very important for our great farmers - and me!”

In July, the Trump administration gradually began slapping import taxes on Chinese goods to pressure Beijing into changing policies that hobble foreign competition and threaten U.S. technology.

Trump doesn’t mention that the Chinese-imposed tariffs are in retaliation for the actions he took.

Iowa's own FOSSIL senator, Chuck Grassley, publicly proclaimed 2-3 months ago that he would NOT be endorsing ANY other Republican other than Donald Trump for president.

He gives NO fucks about Iowa farmers. But he sure as hell has them fooled. He shows up 2-3 times a year to pin medals on 90-year old veterans, the local TV makes a huge production of it, and people think he's doing a helluva job.

now many are going to get bank loans for next year's seeds etc without selling last year's crop and paying storage.
For the first time in ages many will have to put up collateral - like the farm - to get seed.
