Graham blocks resolution calling for Mueller report to be made public
Source: The Hill
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Thursday blocked a resolution calling on special counsel Robert Mueller's report to be made public after it passed the House unanimously.
Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) asked for unanimous consent for the nonbinding resolution, which cleared the House 420-0, to be passed by the Senate before they leave town for a week-long recess.
"There is no good reason, no good reason that the special counsel's report should not be made public. The American people are overwhelmingly for the report being made public. They have a right to see it. No one should stand in the way of that," Schumer said from the Senate floor.
But Graham, a close ally of Trump's who chairs the Judiciary Committee, objected after Schumer refused to amend the House-passed resolution to include a provision calling on the Justice Department to appoint a special counsel to investigate DOJ misconduct in the handling of the Clinton email investigation and the Carter Page FISA applications.

Could be.
Did you know Jimmy Carter helped fund that movie as governor? He created the Georgia Film Office, which helped make Georgia a popular location for the film industry.
Though not necessarily the best films - but oh well..

(21,627 posts)The GOPee has been very good over the years at pigeon-holing Carter as "the gas line and hostage president."
But he certainly accomplished a lot in his relatively brief career in politics - not least of which was popping OPEC's oil bubble, and thus making the "Reagan" recovery possible.

(70,501 posts)My guess is a video of Graham being spanked as he was on all fours wearing a cowboy hat,
ass less chaps, as he yells out to the male whipper "give it to me boss lady."
Or then again i could be wrong.
You don't think he would yell out "boss lady?"

(70,501 posts)Bottom line is that Vladimir/Russian mafia/Trump have something on him. Old mob trick you let somebody stay some place "safe" and you turn on the cameras. For years J. Edgar Hoover never went after the mob because they had pictures of him getting busy.
Btw Graham might have been yelling out "dirty cowboy" instead.
MyOwnPeace
(16,926 posts)what he might have yelled out is just too "YUCKY" for me!
As for Hoover, he probably could have made a killing with photo-swaps ("OK, I'll give you 2 of **** for 3 ****" , you know, like we used to trade baseball cards!
As for "Dear Lindsey" - yeah, somebody's got something, for sure!

Same thing w/Graham. He's too enthusiastic. He's been bribed with something he can't refuse. I wonder what it is. I'm guessing it happened on the golfing greens. Graham changed after one of the times he went golfing w/Trump.
"I like you, Lindsay. You're fair, you're fair. But I would like you to be more loyal to me. Can you do that?"
G: "I took an oath to uphold the Constitution."
T: "I know, I know. I'm not asking you not to do your job. But just be loyal to me, too."
G: (stares off in the distance, silent)
T: Come on. I'm a nice guy, right? I'm trying to get things done. You're happy with what we've worked together to get done, aren't you? I make deals. I'm the best at deal making. Do you need some help negotiating a deal for a vacation house in the Bahamas? Or an apartment in New York? I have connections all over. All over. You just let me know, and I'll make some calls. I'm just asking for loyalty while we try to get these wonderful things done and to help keep the witch hunters out of the way. I'm being persecuted so unfairly. And there are all these things interfering with all the things we both want to get done."
G: (We'll never know what G responds.)
