KNUS radio host Craig Silverman taken off the air midshow for criticizing Trump

Craig Silverman, a former deputy district attorney in Denver and current radio host on the conservative 710 KNUS, was taken off the air midshow Saturday after replaying an old interview clip in which he expressed hesitations about President Donald Trump.

Silverman told The Denver Post in a text message that the show was cut by management as he replayed parts of a 2015 interview he conducted with Trump confidant Roger Stone. On Friday, Stone was convicted of impeding investigators in a bid to protect the president.

In the clip, Silverman told Stone that one thing that concerned him about Trump was his relationship with Roy Cohn, the president’s former personal lawyer who helped Sen. Joe McCarthy during the investigation into suspected Communists in the 1950s.

Silverman responded to state representative Dylan Roberts, an Eagle Democrat, on Twitter, saying “I cannot and will not toe strict Trump party line. I call things I see them.”

lumbaugh’s been the anchor on the loudest station in colorado - 850 KOA (20+ states at night) until september. it dominated for 30 years and slid into mostly sports — broncos rockies and buffs with limbaugh and an afternoon conservative racist dipsshit namaed mandy connell now.

it is possible that activism at CU (i know it was happening) pressured CO to communicate to KOA that it might have to look for alternatives and KOA decided to demote limbaugh rather than risk losing CU and then maybe other sports teams sensitive to climate change and racism….. limbaugh was demoted to the old station that used to be, for a few years (state went blue), the ONLY totally liberal talk in CO ever and was sabotaged to eventually convert it back to rw.

even if the station doesn’t headline limbaugh its dittohead listeners will make sure all their hosts are politically correct (that’s the real political correctness — i like bill maher but he’s also an idiot about talk radio)

there are 87 major universities supporting 260 limbaugh stations and they are by far the most effective places to protest trump and threaten republican politicians to push them to desert trump. if those stations have to start dropping limbaugh the GOP is fucked
