How Romney Packed The Univision Forum

Source: BuzzFeed

But after exhausting the few conservative groups on campus, the Romney camp realized there weren't enough sympathetic students to fill the stands on their night — so they told the network and university that if they weren't given an exemption to the students-only rule, they might have to "reschedule."

In any case, Romney's team was allowed to bus in rowdy activists from around southern Florida in order to fill the extra seats at their town hall.

Salinas said both candidates ultimately had partisan crowds at their forums, but that Romney's non-student activists ignored instructions to hold their applause.

-snipping paragraphs about the initial Univision introduction for Romney mentioning that Romney was giving them 35 minutes while President Obama would give them an hour the next day-

Apparently, Romney took issue with the anchors beginning the broadcast that way, said Salinas, and he refused to go on stage until they re-taped the introduction. (One Republican present at the taping said Romney "threw a tantrum.&quot

His racist nature, bigotry, arrogance, hatred, consistent lying, ignorance, only pandering to the rich, not caring for the people who did build 'this', turning his back on the actual troops but not the military in general (how does that work anyway?), not facing the facts ....... feel free to add to this because I am sure I have missed something, or a lot.

In fact, I have to think the Romney team encouraged their exuberance. We read about the manipulation of Mitt's crowds, but I doubt that the rest of the viewers have any idea that Mitt doesn't really pack 'em in.

manipulative and disrespectful into a "win" compared to Pres. Obama giving them more time & not attempting to manipulate the audience.

Not that I think it hurts POTUS.

It is another example of how Republicans treat voters like they are idiots. They want to trick the voters instead of simply offering up their views. Of course, they know more voters hate their views than like them so trying to divert attention from that is always their plan.

It still annoys me when reporters play along.

with Hispanic voters. That's how it came off at the end. At first it seemed to be quotes from a Romney aide, then suddenly it seemed that the writer was heralding Romney's great draw for Hispanics.

It's utter bullshit that this was not made more public. Romney is such a pampered asshole with a rage problem. HOping at least the real media, aka Jon Stewart, does something with this story.

on that. figures. also my friend who lives near Jacksonville, fla texted me asking what the reason for the stealth plane being in the air when mitt-twit is around and why over more than half of duval county police are escorting him. And who's paying for this stealth plane to circle and why it is not the same when Obama is in town. I said I think it's because they don't want to have anyone suicide crash his party before the repug thugs steal the election and that Obama doesn't count with the state gov't so he would have to depend on his own security, I guess. I am also glad to see that romtwit could not fill a television studio audience without resorting to busing. what a f...... joke. Any MSM on this fact?

the whole buzzfeed article. He can 'demand' things like this from a compliant MSM outlet? That's why this FOOL thinks he's going to win. All the behind the scene machinations to make the FOOL look like he has a large Hispanic audience and most weren't even Hispanic. . My God! This is fraud! They are going all out to steal this election like Bush. Beware on election day. Something stinks now!

upon hearing something he didn't like, Mittens immediately reverted to form and became a bully. Univision should have told him to go fuck himself...if he wanted equal billing, he could give them equal time. And I'd give good money to have seen that temper tantrum. Wouldn't it be nice if someone caught it?

There was a little Romney,
Who had a little brain,
Stuck somewhere in his forehead.
When he was good,
He was very good indeed,
But when he was bad he was horrid.

Univision's President should have told that fuckhead to keep going. But instead kissed his ass and let him walk all over them!!!

And to NOT explain on AIR that the crowd was NOT equal, that the PResident played by the rules, and Romney refused, was total bullshit.

I'm willing to BET that the intro Romney was pissed about, mentioned the fact that the crowd was not students after all...

As for the makeup, the woman was not in the room when Romney's makeup was done.
