Automatic Budget Cuts Now Spook Some Key Republicans (Obama to be scapegoated)...

Source: SEATTLE TIMES

Obama
, in turn, is accusing the Republicans of flip-flopping by rejecting the strong budget controls they once championed...

3. They're just desperate for reasons to give voters to save Republican seats. After they have failed

the American people by putting politics ahead of the needs of our country and obstructing so many Democratic bills to put our people back to work.

4. Nothing from the Pentagon is being "cut"

It is only a "cut" for people using inside the Beltway Washington math.

5. Just The GOP

The GOP is guilty for this whole mess in Congress. They cannot compromise on anything productive. The truth is that Congress has a very low popularity due to their say no to anything the President proposed. All the GOP has to do is look into a mirror.

8. He sure did...

From the OP article:
..."This report confirms that the president's 'sequester' is a serious threat to our national security and must be replaced," House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, responded.

Boehner's stance was at odds with his celebratory pose after Obama signed the 2011 Budget Control Act on Aug. 2, 2011, that contained $1 trillion in defense cuts over a decade and threatened hundreds of billions more through forced reductions.

"I got 98 percent of what I wanted," Boehner said then. "I'm pretty happy."
