People receiving stimulus checks get letter signed by President Donald Trump

Source: CNN

If you're getting money from the federal government as part of the recent stimulus response to the coronavirus, you'll also get a letter from President Donald Trump explaining why.

CNN has obtained a copy of the letter signed by the President and sent to recipients of the stimulus payments.

The one-page letter arrives in an envelope from the IRS as part of the Treasury Department, with both postage and fees paid for by the IRS, according to a notice on the envelope.

The letter reads, in part, "We are fully committed to ensuring that you and your family have the support you need to get through this time," and notifies the recipient exactly how much they would receive and how. On the other side of the letter is a translated Spanish version of the same text.

Trump is going to say "I was the one that gave you money in your time of need." Many are going be gullible enough to fall for it, much like they did in 2018 when their take-home pay SEEMED higher until it was time to file 1040s.

The Ds need to be able to counteract this seemingly idiotic and childish, but likely effective, election ploy.

It is nothing else except a ploy.

One of the worst. Put a letter you whipped your butt on with a picture of the Obama family? And how do you think that will translate with the media and this administration?

Immediately tore it in half, crumpled the halfs up and gave one to the cat and one to the dog. Dog ate it the hacked it up an hour later. Cat just bounced it around the porch then went to the litterbox todo her business.
