Joe Biden warns that President Trump 'is going to try to steal this election'

Joe Biden on Wednesday night had a blunt warning about President Trump and the lengths he would go to limit access to ballots in November, sharply escalating his rhetoric about his Republican rival five months before voters head to the polls.

“This president is going to try to steal this election,” Biden said in an interview on “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.” The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee said of ensuring that the voting process is fair: “It’s my greatest concern. My single greatest concern.”

Biden was also asked whether he has considered what would happen if he wins but Trump refuses to leave office. “Yes, I have,” he said quickly.

The interview appeared to be edited at that point, but Biden resumed by speaking about the number of high-ranking former military officers who spoke out over the past week about Trump’s response to the protests. “I’m promise you, I’m absolutely convinced they will escort him from the White House with great dispatch,” Biden said.

But if Trump and the GOP wins by even more radical voter suppression, especially in traditional Democratic regions. Closing polling stations, reducing voting times, faulty machines, throwing minorities off of voting rolls, and evidence of radically different exit polls than results......

What about the other way? Can Democrats be the ones to call "rigged election!"? I suspect not. What do we do then?

Myself, I think that an attempt to steal the election again is more likely. My biggest fear is that Trump, Moscow Mitch and the Russians will try use use the pandemic as cover to steal the election in some way. I'm not sure exactly how but I suspect that they are working on it right now. As far as refusing to leave after he loses goes, I think he knows that would not work.

I also fear what he might try to do during the two 1/2 months that he will remain in power after he loses on November 3.
