NEW YORK (WBNG) -- Governor Andrew Cuomo gave an update of the state's COVID numbers from yesterday, showing one percent of the tests taken returned positive.

According to the statement, the one percent represents 1,005 additional coronavirus cases which were confirmed.
The Governor also said that the state saw four COVID related deaths yesterday.
Broome County recorded 37 new positive cases, and yesterday's rate of positivity for the Southern Tier was recorded at 1.2 percent.
