Democratic representative Lou Correa says that he has tested positive for Covid-19 and will therefore miss President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration.

On Saturday the 62-year-old California congressman tweeted: “Yesterday, I tested positive for Covid-19. I will be responsible & self-quarantine, away from my family, for the recommended time.”

Rep. Correa is the latest member of Congress to contract the virus, the number of which has grown since lawmakers were forced to shelter in place together during the attack on the US Capitol.

During the lockdown on 6 January, some Republican representatives refused to wear masks.

. . .

Following the violence at the Capitol, the Democrat was accosted by unmasked Trump supporters at Dulles Airport outside of Washington, DC.

Selfish people who refused to wear masks. How hard is it. Hundreds of people in a room, masks provided, just wear the damn mask and protect other people.

testing positive? I’m starting to think the Republicans were able to jump to the front of the vaccination line, and that is why they refused to wear masks.

Am I missing something? Just not seeing news about Republicans who were infected?

10. I thought about that too, but I've concluded that Pukes don't test, don't tell, don't quarantine.

Odd that the people wearing masks got it, and those without masks did not, but the Pukes refusing to get tested would certainly explain it.
