Biden set to convene his Cabinet in-person for the first time on Thursday

Source: CNN

(CNN)President Joe Biden is set to convene his Cabinet in-person for the first time Thursday at the White House.

The meeting comes one day after he rolls out the first piece of his sweeping infrastructure proposal focused on investments in transportation, public water, health and broadband systems, community care for seniors and innovation research and development. Biden will be keeping the focus on the plan, his top legislative priority, during the meeting, according to a White House official.

The group will also discuss the $1.9 trillion Covid-19 relief package and other top priorities.

Unlike traditional Cabinet meetings, the meeting will take place in the East Room, rather than the eponymous Cabinet Room, due to social distancing constraints amid the ongoing pandemic, with public health experts expressing concerns about a new surge in cases in recent days.

Line up to kiss the ring.

Not likely this time around! We have an adult in charge now.

After watching the video of Trump's cabinet meeting where each person had to tell him how thankful they were for him appointing them, and what a wonderfully qualified individual he was as president. I almost puked. I was surprised that one by one, they didn't come up to him, kneel down and kiss his ring. (or whatever)

Bowed down to that corrupt conman, only to have him continually berate and humiliate them the way he did. For them to sell their dignity, integrity, and moral values (if they had any) to do his bidding was both shocking & stomach- churning to witness.

Tillerson was CEO of one of the world's largest oil company & fairly wealthy. He did not need to bear the insults. Why he did what he did is incomprehensible to me.

and the civic-minded, well balanced adult professionalism we'll see in Joe's cabinet meetings.

Really -- it's remarkable -- even if it was expected and predictable. What el;se could a normal sane person expect from normal, sane and thoughtful DUers?
