ADL CEO asks advertisers to boycott Tucker Carlson, Fox News
Source: The Hill
Anti-Defamation League (ADL) CEO Jonathan Greenblatt on Tuesday asked advertisers to pull their ads from Fox News and its prime-time show "Tucker Carlson Tonight" in a speech to the World Federation of Advertisers.
"Choose to pause or even pull your ads not just from problematic programs but altogether from networks that don't respect all people or that repeat baseless conspiracies that endanger all of us," Greenblatt said.
Greenblatt was referring to comments Carlson made in a Fox News segment less than two weeks ago when the Fox host said that Democrat immigration policies could be designed to dilute the voting power of Americans.
Shortly after that segment aired, Greenblatt and the ADL said that Carlson needed to be fired because his comments mirrored a white supremacist tenet called the "great replacement" theory.

(1,306 posts)He is a full-blown moron. I wanted to slap him. I changed the channel I was so
disgusted by it.
He accused the democrats of trying to pump up immigration in order to make
POC the majority of block of voters in the U.S., thereby "disenfranchising" people
like him (meaning white people) Disenfranchise was his word, not mine.
Holy Fuck, where do you come up with logic like this?
If this is his reasoning, then can't we conclude that people of color are the ones presently
being "disenfranchised" because they are in the minority and white people (like him) are
in the majority? But, to racist scum like Tucker, that is not a problem -- it is the natural
order of things, and it is the way God intended it to be. And Tucky doesn't like being called
a racist for spewing this vomitous garbage about being replaced.
When a majority of Americans votes for someone or something, that is not referred to as
"disenfranchisement". That is how democracy works -- the majority wins. If you are on the
losing side, that's tough shit. Stop whining, you little prick!
Disenfranchisement is when people are impeded from access to voting or they have their
votes negated -- that would describe what people like Tucky are doing to the minorities in
all the "red" states, where Jim Crow is having a grand revival.

(11,561 posts)They now receive the bulk of their revenue from cable subscriptions. If cable providers could be persuaded to unbundle Fox, customers votes with their wallets would actually make a serious difference.

(2,252 posts)My Pillow and Nutrisystem, contact them and let them know you will stop using their product until they stop advertising on Tucker's show. Then you can consider switching to a different cable provider but when you cancel your current provider, tell them you can't support any company that promotes Tuckers show. If they get enough complaints, they will drop Fox and Tucker like a toxic potato. Try it, can't hurt.
