New Images Surface of Couy Griffin at Capitol Insurrection (sic)

Source: KRQE

"NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Controversial Otero County Commissioner Couy Griffin is trying to get his federal case dismissed for his alleged role in the Capitol insurrection back in January. But the feds are pushing back and are sharing photos about where Griffin was during the riot. News 13 spoke with Griffin over the phone and he claims he never went inside the Capitol but said he didn’t know the area he was in was a restricted section. I didn’t do anything on that day that I would’ve been ashamed to have been a part of or that I couldn’t legally do,” said Couy Griffin over the phone. In a response to Griffin’s motion to dismiss his case, the feds attached screen grabs they said are from a video taken by Griffin’s videographer. Documents said Griffin climbed over a metal barricade where rioters had pushed past Capitol Police officers. Here’s what Griffin told News 13 about the images:

“If you look on what I’m stepping off of, it’s some kind of a little step ladder, [a] little metal object being used as a step ladder. I don’t know what it was maybe used for before but I’m just stepping up from one little platform to another little platform and there’s people above me that are helping me,” said Griffin over the phone. Documents state Griffin then climbed over what looked like a wooden board to get to an area beneath the inauguration platform and then he used an exterior stairwell to access that platform.

This is 'Our' Cowboys for Trump leader. THIS is why I ran for office and (I think) so many DUers supported me. He has many supporters in our county and state. His biggest supporter is now our Congresswoman Yvette Herrell (against whom i ran 4 years ago).
I'm glad our local news referred to it as the insurrection it was.

He is incredibly obnoxious at our County Commission meetings. Horrible. He brags about being a speaker at some convention, does nothing for our County...we're waiting for a NM Supreme Court ruling whether our recall effort can go ahead.

that gives all those republicans lots of support and air time - pierce was and may still get a lot of free time, so is rio grande foundation /rw think tank guy paul gessing.

NM dems really ought to make an issue of the fact that 3 x-limbaugh/republican stations piggyback 2 major state universities. the unis broadcast sports on the stations and the stations use the brand associations to attract advertising and community cred. it's a ridiculous situation and the schools have no excuse. the rw stations are using school athletes, majority black, to excuse racism, stop gun reform, swiftboat dems, sell voter suppression, deny global warming and covid, and basically republican for 100% of their political programming. there are many alts now and as of a few years ago the UNM licensing co actually was paying KKOB, for some reason.... even if the cons scream about lost uni revenue or partisanship/free speech consider that those stations will fight school funding increases and weigh in on selections and elections of school admin, regents, etc (who is, isn't acceptable)! and if it's lost revenue maybe start a fundraiser, which would increase visibility.

if pierce/trump/koch/putin would pay $1000 for 1hr of talk radio infomercial then 3 stations x 15 hrs/day x 5 days =$225,000 worth every WEEK, FREE to republicans.

from fakenewsradio.org New Mexico 2, New Mexico St. 1

get a discussion going in one of those schools and the other might be shamed into following. school groups should be interested, and maybe it would be a good topic for debate teams.

A capitol is a building in which a legislature operates. In the United States, the Capitol is a building in Washington DC where the United States Congress meets.

Is either a capitalized letter or the city where head of government located: Like Raleigh, NC is the capital of NC, and DC is the US capital, but the US House is the Capitol building.

And people wonder why foreigners get confused learning English? Lol

And 'not recognizing' that was a piece of fence blocking off a restricted area doesn't hurt either, actually it's knid of Stupid if you ask me.

How stupid does he thing the judge is? I guess he believes Stupid is as Stupid does?

Of coarse, Stupid knows no bounds.

His lawyer is stupid too: 'Gee Judge, he's just Stupid, can't you forgive him this one time? '

Sorry, I'm in a Stupid State of Mind.
