America hits 150 million fully vaccinated, says White House

The United States has fully inoculated 150 million people against the coronavirus, the White House said, marking a major milestone even as experts warn that highly contagious new variants mean the vaccination rate needs to continue rising.

“America is coming back,” President Biden wrote in a tweet Monday evening.

Roughly 46 percent of U.S. residents have completed their vaccination schedule, still some way below the 70 to 90 percent inoculation rate that Anthony S. Fauci, the nation’s top infectious-disease expert, has said is needed to achieve herd immunity.

Health experts have said the delta variant of the coronavirus, first detected in India, could become dominant in the United States over summer, adding urgency to their pleas for more people to get vaccinated.

It's frustrating as hell talking to unvaxxed people, they've got excuse after excuse for not getting vaccinated.

I have relatives who are refusing to get vaccinated whom I really thought were smarter than that, I'm just very deflated that they have bought into the lies.

4. I was at the local Kroger where I live, and the nurse from The Little Clinic...

...there was walking around begging people to come and get vaccinated. I didn't see any takers. Sad.

9. A dumper came over here the other day

I wanted an estimate on having my car detailed.

He had no mask.

He had no plans to get vaccinated.

I asked him if he had any kids and he said he had four girls.

I found myself semi-screaming, "Four girls and YOU are not vaccinated!".

He replied, "I heard kids can't get it."

I told him you have heard wrong, kids CAN and DO get it!

He left with no job from me.
