Florida is experiencing the highest rate of children hospitalized with COVID-19 across the U.S.

According to data from the CovKid project, which uses COVID-19 hospitalization numbers from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, as of August 7, Florida is reporting 8.1 children hospitalized with COVID-19 per 100,000 residents. The number of children hospitalized with COVID-19 per 100,000 residents in Florida is the highest in the nation, according to the data.

Data from the project also shows that over the past seven days, Florida has reported 341 new hospital admissions among those aged 17 and younger, the most in the U.S.

Florida is also reporting the highest rate of COVID-19 hospitalizations among those ages 18 and 19. According to the data, as of August 7, Florida reported 20.6 hospitalizations per 100,000 residents in that age group.

florida law states any party that put's a child in harm's way is subject to " child endangerment & will be treated as such . if every parent in florida went down to there court house & filed charge's against DESANTIS personally, it would flood Tallahassee with law suit 's. parents get charged with all the time in new's , ronny is no better than a bad parent !! his kid's are in a private school wearing mask's ! double standard here !!!
