Davis then raised the roof by concluding with a quote from Leo Amery to Neville Chamberlain:
"You have sat there too long for all the good you have done. In the name of God, go.

20 of the 54 Letters of No Confidence needed to force a leadership challenge are understood to have been submitted by Tory MPs.

In BoJo's case, any time would be too long for any good he had done, since he has done none.
