Firearms, a drone and 30 days of supplies: New details of Oath Keepers Jan. 6 weapons cache

But the most salient details in the new memo describe the planning and stockpiling of weapons at the Comfort Inn. Among them, prosecutors say, were “at least three luggage carts’ worth of gun boxes, rifle cases, and suitcases filled with ammunition.”

“A second QRF team from North Carolina consisted of four men who kept their rifles ready to go in a vehicle parked in the hotel lot,” according to the Justice Department. “Later, Vallejo and other members of the Arizona QRF team wheeled in bags and large bins of weapons, ammunition, and essential supplies to last 30 days.”

Prosecutors say that as some Oath Keepers breached the Capitol, Vallejo “attempted, but failed, to launch … a ‘drone with a 720p cam for recon use.’” Capitol Police officials have, in recent days, described efforts to protect the Capitol against unauthorized drones.

What do the traitors epect will happen if they topple our democracy? Do the traitor criminals think they will be special to their traitor masters? They might be at first, but I bet that individuals would be called on to commit worse and worse atrocities against American citizens to keep getting special favors. None of the traitor criminals will be valued by traitor masters for very long. Just look at the track record of traitor henchmen left in a ditch.

If you look throughout history and even all over the world today, the insurrectionists on the ground rarely achieve any kind of power and of course, the world does not become a better place because of their coups. Sometimes these same people will end up rebelling against the government they put in power.

I often wonder if it is the fight they care about, not any actual cause. Some people thrive on violence and destruction and any old excuse will do. What's the point of stockpiling all those expensive weapons and ammo if they can't use them? Whatever happens, they will end up very disappointed, in jail, or very likely dead. Unfortunately, they think they are living in some cheesy action flick.

“Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities."

These assholes believed in the absurd because of their leaders (who hated Obama because he was Black), fell for the "he's coming for your guns" schtick and then fell even harder for tRump's BS. So, their leaders and by extension, tRump, were able to convince them to commit atrocities against the Republic. If they'd succeeded, they'd have continued to commit atrocities, as their consciences were long since obliterated in terms of caring for "the other": We've all been dehumanized. The gods help you if you weren't white and these assclowns had won.

During the eight years Obama was president, he took two actions to expand gun rights.

The first we all know about: he allowed people to carry guns in national parks.
The other I had to learn about from a gun dealer. I bought something from a pawn shop that sells a lot of guns, so I was asking about how well the gun trade was going. He told me Obama tried to get nationwide reciprocity for concealed weapons permits - right now, if I had an Idaho CCW card it wouldn’t be valid in about a third of the country. Under Obama’s plan, it would hold the same status as a driver’s license - valid nationwide. The Republicans turned him down because it would interfere in state’s rights to do it.

Also, Barack Obama and Joe Biden are both gun owners…they both have shotguns. I believe Biden is a bird hunter, and Obama is an excellent skeet shooter.

And then there’s Placeholder. Probably the last gun Trump ever even held was the wooden one he had in military school. Trump owns no guns, can shoot no guns, and attempted to grab every bump stock in the country without even buying them back. And this idiot is the one they trust to defend their gun rights? Wouldn’t that be like hiring the Big Bad Wolf to house-sit at Grandma’s?

But all those clowns saw (as the late, great Bartcop paraphrased them) was "that NITWH*", and they couldn't stand it. They'd make up any reason to hate/oppose him. I remember seeing pics of the Goat Keepers riding around with leather jackets that had, "N****r, please. It's called the WHITE House!" stitched on the back. Says all you needed to know about them.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how the Mama's Boys and Goat Keepers manage to recruit minorities like Tusitala "Tiny" Toese and Enrique "Henry" Tarrio. Hispanics and South Pacific Islanders aren't exactly people I see fitting in well with Nazi-adjacent, but full-on Euro-heritage, and "White Power!" goons. 🤷?♂️

Unfortunately, tactical gear does not bestow tactical experience, understanding and awareness. Just a cool costume. given the amount of video the DOJ the FBI has the number of oath keepers arrested and I assume interrogated that the people funding and assisting them is yet to be known. These are the ones I want charged and outed. They practically confess every day in their own words. Like I said I hope this is in progress already and the leaders are again going to get a pass.

… and other militia larpers are doing a lot of talking yet. They’ve pled out a lot of the real estate agents, hardware store owners and retirees who went to DC and went along with the crowd. The idiots that marched on command and can plausibly claim they got swept up with the mob mentality.

But the militia guys are mostly still sitting in jail keeping their mouths shut. (There have been a few that have struck deals, but still mostly low level grunts). These are the guys described in the OP - the true believers that went organized and prepared to kill their “enemies”. And I suspect many of them still believe Тяцмp is somehow going to save them.

Until those guys start rolling over and telling what they know, the people up the chain likely won’t be charged.

Well, obviously they were realistic enough to know that if they did manage to overthrow the government that supplies would be disrupted and store shelves would no longer be re-stocked with food.

But nowhere have I seen any indication that they were bringing enough weapons to fight off the National Guard or the military.

I take that to mean that they had assurances the military would stay loyal to Trump during a coup. Because there's no reason to attempt a coup then not bring all your weapons and ammunition to back it up.

I've talked to enough survivalists over the years (survivalists not insurrectionists), to know that many of them think that you're under-prepared if you only have 40,000 rounds of ammo for your multiple guns.

So these guys showing up with a small selection of their guns and a small portion of their ammo means to me that they weren't expecting much opposition or they were expecting re-supply of guns and ammunition...but not food.
