My neighbors laughed at all the money I was spending. I said it was an investment, to hedge against global instability over oil. I couldn't tell you what the price is at the pump, because I honestly don't see it. I'll see it in food prices, but not from travel.

Make the investment now. Do it. Don't let people dissuade you. Get away from oil, free yourself from the torment!

I just couldn't afford the $52K asking price for a Tesla Model 3 right now. Hopefully by the time I'm ready to buy again electric cars will be coming down in price with better features!
