Maybe everything that dies someday comes back.

And maybe everything comes back faster if it gets a helping hand.

That’s what Bruce Springsteen and some other talented musicians, many of whom are deeply invested in the fortunes of flood-afflicted New Jersey and New York, are hoping. Tonight, the Boss, Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Christina Aguilera and Sting will sing at a benefit concert and telethon for the American Red Cross’ relief efforts. "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together" will air tonight at 8 on many channels, including NBC, the USA Network, MSNBC, CNBC, Bravo and E!

The one-hour concert, which will be hosted by Matt Lauer of the "Today" show, will take place at NBC’s Rockefeller Plaza studios, and tickets will not be made available to the general public. It will stream on the internet at NBC.com, and be heard on Sirius XM satellite radio’s E Street Radio (channel 20)...

without heat, clothes, shelter, or food - some dumpster diving for food - just not there for those stuck high in high rises without ability to get down stairs
