Las Vegas Newspaper: We Struggle To ID GOP Candidates Who Aren't Threat To Democracy

Source: HuffPost via MSN

The Las Vegas Sun issued a plea to non-MAGA Republicans to “reach out to us” because the current crop of GOP candidates in the state are too extreme to back.

The newspaper’s editorial board, in an essay published Sunday, said it had “endorsed Republicans in the past and might do so again in the future.”

“Yet as we survey the field of Republican candidates across the state, we are struggling to identify those who are not an active threat to American democracy or the institutions of government that have sustained our republic for 250 years,” it continued.

Did any other newspapers come to this conclusion before primary season started?

many candidates would be unknown to voters who would rely on trusted sources to vett and endorse.

during a primary, for a newspaper to endorse a candidate from each ticket--so for governor they'd endorse one of the candidates on the Democratic ticket and one of the candidates on the Republican ticket?

For the primary, anyway?

so they vet and make recommendations during the primaries on the better candidates in a given race for each party.

Fascinating development.

Puuuhhh-lease! How can anyone believe that bullshit after all they do to prove otherwise? I mean, the facts stare the public right in the face, but noooo! They still vote for these assclowns, begging for more like Kevin Bacon's character in Animal House.

But their actions show otherwise there, too. Especially once troops move out of active duty to veteran status.

And for sure he wanted a big parade for his ego. I remember he wanted the M1-Abrams tanks rolling through DC, never mind the fact that the roads aren't built to take the weight.

I'm so fucking glad that assclown is not defiling the White House anymore.

Not to mention that he has trouble getting around as it is - can't navigate either stairs or even a ramp - and while most older guys golf for exercise, he rides a golf cart.

They don’t want to help anyone, don’t want to resolve human problems or make life easier for anyone.

Thry are hard, tight jawed, judgemental, hypocrites.

Repugnants are anti-American and we are In a struggle to save our way of life.

I can’t help but believe Putin is at the root of this change, but it’s ignorant people and self servers that push it along.

I hope I’m dead before they take over.
