Michael Cohen believes Trump is likely keeping copies of top-secret documents at his children's home

Source: Business Insider

Michael Cohen believes Trump is likely keeping copies of top-secret documents at his children's homes, Bedminster, and Trump Tower

"Michael Cohen, who was once former President Donald Trump's lawyer, believes Trump likely has copies of the classified documents the FBI seized from Mar-a-Lago stashed in other locations.

Cohen was reacting on Twitter to an article from The Washington Post on the Department of Justice's recent court filing, in which the DOJ suggested that Trump's team may have concealed or moved top-secret files when officials were probing the matter.

"I believe Trump has copies, potentially other documents as well, at other locations including his children's homes, Weisselberg's florida home, Bedminster, NJ golf course, Fifth Avenue apartment, etc…" Cohen tweeted.

Cohen was referring to Allen Weisselberg, the Trump Organization's former CFO, who in August admitted to orchestrating a payroll tax-dodge scheme at the organization.

During its search of Mar-a-Lago on August 8, the FBI seized 11 sets of classified documents, including some marked "top secret" and files that may have concerned nuclear weapons. According to the warrant for the search, the DOJ is looking into whether Trump broke any of three federal laws — including the Espionage Act — by keeping the documents at his Florida residence. "

A decade of being his fixer is long enough to know the whole game with a one trick pony. -45's whole game is to keep his money, the smaller amount that is actually traceable, moving from one account of holding to another so that nobody knows where it is and how much there actually is.

That whole con is likely the same strategy he's using with illegally obtained documents.

I have had the same suspicions as Cohen on this, there's more in many places. Shit, they should go over all his properties with LIDAR and make sure there's nothing buried in the woods.

Oh, and don't forget his international properties!

For Mar a Lago they have insiders, and other evidence, that have provided probable cause. They would need evidence for the other locations that such documents are there, in order to search.

but mixed income so teachers, firefighters, social workers, and all the people he thinks of as losers end up living in his shiny tower.
btw, the tower was planned as a new world's tallest, but he cut it back after 9/11.

I mean, these documents have all been scanned by now, don't you think?

Chump can give away the paper copies, or they can be confiscated. But he has the information in the scanned digital files, and it's a threat to the country's security. Jared had a lot of free time to do the scanning after he returned from Saudi Arabia.

Even when Chump was in the White House, it was recognized by our intelligence organizations that HE was a security risk. The intelligence chiefs went out of their way to avoid telling him stuff, and to not giving him secret documents. What does that tell us? They knew it was going to be trouble before Chump left the White House.

When Archives asked for the documents, he could have turned them over and that would have been the end of it. Now they are being inspected by the top crime lab in the World for prints, DNA and clues. Anybody who handled these material is subject to be charged under the Espionage Act. If he has any documents at his kids houses, they should ask to have their places searched, that way there is no chance they can get rolled up in this If they did not handle the evidence.

Now repeat after me, Don, Eric, Ivanka, "My Dad is a Fuck-up."
