Ginni Thomas pressed Wisconsin lawmakers to overturn Biden's 2020 victory
Source: Washington Post
The Washington Post reported this year that Ginni Thomas emailed 29 Arizona state lawmakers, some of them twice, in November and December 2020. She urged them to set aside Bidens popular-vote victory and choose their own presidential electors, despite the fact that the responsibility for choosing electors rests with voters under Arizona state law.
The new emails show that Thomas also messaged two Republican lawmakers in Wisconsin: state Sen. Kathy Bernier, then chair of the Senate elections committee, and state Rep. Gary Tauchen. Bernier and Tauchen received the email at 10:47 a.m. on Nov. 9, virtually the same time the Arizona lawmakers received a verbatim copy of the message from Thomas. The Bernier email was obtained by The Post, and the Tauchen email was obtained by the watchdog group Documented and provided to The Post.

(6,181 posts).... then secondly, stay on the gravy train (grifting) for self-enrichment.
But they all know that without presidential pardons, they are facing their own indictments, loss of law licenses, and prison time.
They know they have stepped over the line(s) and there is no way back without pardons.

(33,327 posts)She was spamming them, basically. Multiple RWNJ activists were doing the same 24/7. The pressure campaign was everywhere, and it had not a scintilla of substance.
She is not bound by any ethical obligation related to Clarence Thomas.

(10,163 posts)But...... Clarence has responsibility for her.
He is responsible for reporting on all her income. But he failed to even do that. He failed to do that for many years in violation of federal law.
Normal people would be fired and prosecuted......not Clarance.

(13,435 posts)I dont think there would even be anything wrong with an individual nut sending such communications to legislators. But where things would get sticky is if it were done in consultation with anyone else, especially if the chain of contacts led back to anyone linked to the Trump admin or campaign. At that point, its not just some lone nut blasting out their conspiracy theories but a part of a larger conspiracy to overturn an election.

(7,365 posts)To the Holy Crusaders, there is NOTHING to stand in their way to install Jesus as sole ruler over all laws of our land. This isn't the crusades or the inquisition, but it's the same agenda, overpower and install theocracy. These people wouldn't care one iota if every non Christian was slaughtered by the masses, rest assured overthrowing Democracy is very much on their "not a big deal" meter. These people are deranged and dangerous. AND they have the Court.
