SEOUL, South Korea (AP) North Korean leader Kim Jong Uns daughter made a public appearance again, this time with missile scientists and more honorific titles as her fathers most beloved or precious child. Shes only about 10, but her new, bold photos are deepening the debate over whether shes being primed as a successor.
The daughter, believed to be Kims second child named Ju Ae and about 9 or 10 years old, was first unveiled to the outside world last weekend in state media photos showing her observing the Norths intercontinental ballistic missile launch the previous day with her parents and other older officials. The daughter wearing a white puffy coat and red shoes was shown walking hand-in-hand with Kim past a huge missile loaded on a launch truck and watching a soaring weapon.
On Sunday, the Norths official Korean Central News Agency mentioned her for the second time, saying she and Kim took group photos with scientists, officials and others involved in what it called the test-launch of its Hwasong-17 ICBM.
KCNA described her as Kims most beloved or precious child, a more honorific title than her previous description of (Kims) beloved child on its Nov. 19 dispatch. State media-released photos showed the daughter in a long, black coat holding her fathers arm as the two posed for a photo. Taking after her mother Ri Sol Ju, who wasnt visible in any of the photos Sunday, she had a more mature appearance than in her unveiling a week ago.
This undated photo provided on Nov. 27, 2022, by the North Korean government shows North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, center right, and his daughter, center left, with soldiers, pose for a photo, following the launch of what it says a Hwasong-17 intercontinental ballistic missile, at an unidentified location in North Korea. (10,225 posts)Or is it religion? I mean they think that family has magical powers too.
But frequently feudalism, after enforcing an unbalanced economic system, piggy backed onto religion to tighten control and manipulate the masses.
So yeah, the weird and wacky world of feudalism where a 10 year old child can rule millions and make billions. What a stupid form of government/economic system. Almost as bad as trying to keep capitalism in a democracy.

Not that I wish KJU a particularly long or healthy life, but she's most likely the next generation. Show her how the AAA guns work so she isn't shy about dispatching uncles.

(10,225 posts)If daughter is eligible for ruling the country, wouldn't the sister be too?
The Sister would be more genetically similar to her brother than the daughter would be to the father. If the brother and sister had the same parents. But people aren't real bright about genetics when they are consolidating power in a feudal/theocratic government.

Does this mean he has 2 kids with the same name? Awkward syntax, dude.
Either way, if she's his second child, I wonder what happened the first one. Do they not do primogeniture over there?
Not that any of that matters. I'm just questioning everything today,
