You'd think this would give his pro-Ivermectin followers at Dirt Road Discussions pause, that maybe, just maybe, ingesting a dewormer designed for large animals like cows and horses isn't such a bright idea. But to people who would entertain the idea in the first place probably not.

Just before 7 am on March 3, Danny Lemoi posted an update in his hugely popular pro-ivermectin Telegram group, Dirt Road Discussions: “HAPPY FRIDAY ALL YOU POISONOUS HORSE PASTE EATING SURVIVORS !!!”

Hours later, Lemoi was dead.

For the last decade, Lemoi had taken a daily dose of veterinary ivermectin, a dewormer designed to be used on large animals like horses and cows. In 2021, as ivermectin became a popular alternative COVID-19 treatment among anti-vaxxers, he launched what became one of the largest Telegram channels dedicated to promoting the use of it, including instructions on how to administer ivermectin to children......................

It’s so stupid I can’t believe it.

I’m reminded of the third Terminator movie. John Conner breaks into a veterinarian’s office for medicine because of his motorcycle accident. He takes some drugs and Clare Danes’ character tells him it’s a drug for neutering dogs!

That’s how stupid these anti-vaxxers are.

that's what happens with dewormer.

Having idiots die from self medicating against all scientific medical direction is a solution to it's own problem. There are legit medical uses for opioid painkillers and fentanyl with doctor supervision. But millions of people abuse it with disastrous results.

Now they slightly alter some of the shots with scribbles to show they are NOT promoting the false info but ridiculing it.

Basically, Ivermectin is a poison, like every other dewormer. I don't even like giving it to my horses or goats (twice a year for horses/donkeys, every 3 months for goats, rotated with other dewormers so the worms don't build resistance to a particular one). But they can die from parasites too.

Heartworm meds for dogs is ivermectin as well. And they want you to give it to your dog every month. We've seen, like--2 mosquitoes since we moved here 10 years ago. And we have a farm pond. If I started seeing very many, I would dose my dogs, but not arbitrarily once a month.

I'm not anti-meds, I just don't like unnecessary dosing. I've had too many cats and dogs die from weird cancers.
