"Significant increase" in threats online ahead of possible Trump indictment

Source: CBS News

Intelligence sources told CBS News that there's been a "significant increase" in threats and violent rhetoric online from domestic violent extremists as former President Donald Trump claimed he will be indicted by a Manhattan grand jury. But the sources said they have not identified any credible or direct threats to a person or property and they are continuing to monitor for credible specific threats.

Domestic violent extremists in online postings have warned that prosecutors from the Manhattan District Attorney's Office would cross a red line if Trump is indicted and it would be met with more violence than the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, the sources said. There have also been postings calling for civil war.

Sources said the threats are mostly aimed at law enforcement, judges and government officials in New York and elsewhere that domestic violent extremists perceive as participants in what they see as a political persecution of Trump.

A law enforcement source said they are seeing chatter online, with Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg being mentioned in a lot of it, but not much mobilization toward violence or protests at this point. But law enforcement sources said the situation could change quickly.

Why do we handle these nuts with kid gloves? They don't even need to be validated in their warped perceptions, anger, delusions, and threats. They are nuts. Applying the rule of law is not persecution. It's the civil state holding citizens to the rules. For better or worse, this is what we live under. Get over it!

If you find a specific or serious threat, archive the page on the Wayback Machine at https://archive.org ... "search" for the URL there and then it will offer to archive it for you.

bk1000 should be investigated. Has been making serious threats repeatedly. Ready to blow up any time?

“ They couldn’t go after Hillary Clinton because she was running for
President, but they’ll go after President Trump?
Seems like there’s two sets of laws in this country.”
If they succeed then we have nothing to lose. If that is the case,
they will not be able to walk the streets.
Talking will be over.

I cannot fight on the side of people who would lead us into
this. Quite the opposite. They will not be able to walk the street.

Every NYPD (NKVD) officer should now have a target on them. When
Truump wins, he should issue a statement that says “Sorry, we’re
broke. There’s no law enforcement money left for the state of New
York. None.”

If not now, when?
If not us, who?
For the rest, see my tagline, which remains unchanged since the 2000
Presidential Election. Never saw a reason to change it, and it's more
relevant than ever given the tyranny we now live under.

This is Alvin Bragg, the DA who's going after Trump. Sure hope he stays safe.

17. "political persecution"? His crimes are all political. It's political PROSECUTION because ...
Tue Mar 21, 2023, 06:59 AM
Mar 2023

... all of these crimes relate to politics. Hiding hush money during the campaign, attempting to steal an election, fomenting a coup, stealing classified documents. These are political crimes committed because he decided he wanted to be president.

If the motherfucker just stayed a small time crook in New York none of this would have happened. He could continue his small-time crime spree unabated. But Barack Obama made fun of him at a White House Correspondents Dinner and his fee fees got hurt, so he couldn't just let that pass. And now he's facing multiple prosecutions because he committed these crimes while running for, being installed the the office of, and while he had to leave the presidency. So all of them are political crimes.

Hell yeah this is all political PROsecution. He isn't being persecuted; he's a walking crime spree. And he BETTER face consequences, dammit.
