Drones attack Moscow, damaging residential buildings
Source: nbc
Moscow was hit by drones Tuesday morning, in what appeared to be the first attack on residential areas of the Russian capital since the invasion of Ukraine and a dramatic display of the Kremlin's war increasingly coming home.
The incident caused damage to some buildings in Moscow and forced residents to evacuate homes, local officials said.
It comes weeks after an alleged drone attack on the Kremlin itself and following days of deadly Russian bombardment against civilians in Kyiv, as events far from the front lines take the spotlight ahead of Ukraines planned counteroffensive.

Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that his country "has nothing directly to do" with the drone attacks on Moscow. Ukraine is, however, "pleased to observe and predict an increase in the number of attacks," he said in a YouTube interview Tuesday.

(3,430 posts)sign that war, invading a peaceful country, is not the fun or patriotic thing that propaganda, of which they are most probably being inundated with, is all about.
Most people never wake up until it happens to them.

(87,192 posts)There is a contingent of citizens of russia who are finding ways to put the pressure on pootin and illustrating what a farce he is and that they can rise up and take him out.
These may be the ones who had been blowing things up inside russia since the beginning over some of them.
I am glad to see that there are russians who are ready to further weaken pootin and taking action. By showing the rest of russians what they are foisting upon Ukraine can be their fate as well or they could have a freer society if they take action to make it so. A now is their chance, don't blow it kind of thing.

(10,272 posts)Have to stop little man Putin. He has been allowed to be their dictator for so long, he thinks he can do anything he wants, even take over another country. I hope Russia can be rid of this mad man.

This is like the fireworks attack at the Kremlin.

(1,007 posts)But even if it was Ukraine, can you blame them? They're fighting for their survival. Why can't Ukraine hit targets in Russia? If they are attacking military targets, of which the Kremlin is one of them, I do not see why that is a problem.
