'Trump Bucks' retailers' websites taken down, days after being exposed for selling bogus currency
Source: NBC News
The companies who appear to have swindled supporters of former President Donald Trump out of tens of thousands of dollars by peddling them bogus Trump Bucks no longer have active websites just days after their businesses were exposed by NBC News.
The websites where the Colorado-based Patriots Dynasty, Patriots Future and USA Patriots companies were selling everything from Official Trump 2024 Gold Cards to Trump Rebate Banking System (TRB) membership cards purportedly issued by Donald Trump himself are no longer active.
Similar websites that also promise real patriots will get rich if they buy these products remain active, but they have been disabled by the online retailer ClickBank, which connects the purveyors of these products to potential purchasers.
This site is no longer in service or has been disabled due to a terms of service violation was the message that popped up when an NBC News reporter tried to make a purchase. Jennifer Beevers, ClickBanks vice president of client and customer advocacy, said it was the right thing to do.

NEW YORK (AP) Steve Bannon, the conservative strategist and longtime ally of former President Donald Trump, will stand trial next May on charges that he duped donors who gave money to build a wall along the U.S. southern border, a judge said Thursday.
Judge Juan Manuel Merchan set Bannons trial in the We Build the Wall case for May 28, 2024, amending his calendar after realizing that the date he announced in court May 27 is next years Memorial Day holiday, when courts will be closed.
If the schedule holds, Bannon will stand trial soon after Trump is slated to do so in the same Manhattan courtroom in an unrelated criminal case.
Bannon, 69, pleaded not guilty last September following his indictment on state money laundering, conspiracy, fraud and other charges. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg took up the case after Bannons federal prosecution was cut short by a Trump pardon. Presidential pardons apply only to federal crimes, not state offenses.

At least you'll probably get some use out of it, unlike these BS bucks.
And, unlike the religious tithing, you got something real with your money.
So there's that.
Win/win.

I have not seen any articles that Trump has sued this bunch.

It's largest influence preceded the preponderance of 'PayPal'... My small successes using them was in the early 2000s...
All of my products were 'non-political'. I am not surprised that any type of 'pro-Trump' products marketed through them have now been banned...

(2,957 posts)For real... I feel sorry for these mostly elderly people who think they're getting something of value and are losing their money. How humiliating it must be to pay $99 for a token that is advertised as being redeemable for $10k at a store, only to be told at the Costco counter that you've been scammed.
Lower income elderly people - even Trumpers - don't deserve this.
I hope this is investigated and the scammers arrested and prosecuted - even if it turns out to be liberals taking advantage of gullible MAGAts.
If millionaire's spent thousands on this stuff, I have less sympathy for them. But the elderly poor - I'm very sad to know this has happened to them.

In addition to promising that their investments in the products would help propel Trump back into the White House, the ads also falsely suggested that Trump will make the real patriots who support him rich.
For example, the ads say, a $10,000 Diamond Trump Bucks bill purchased for $99.99 can be cashed in for $10,000 at major banks like Bank of America and retailers like Walmart, Costco and Home Depot.

(5,443 posts)at least there would be others-- likely MAGAts/MAGA-DONs (note Trump's name for them includes his own) to keep the price of tokens up for at least some time. But that would have required more sophistication from the scammers.

Donald Trump released a second iteration of his NFT trading cards on Tuesday and despite bragging about making $4.6m the actual value of the cards dropped significantly. The former president announced on 18 April that he was selling another series of the NFT trading cards, similar to the ones he released this past December.
I am pleased to inform you that, due to the great success of my previously launched DIGITAL TRADING CARDS, we are doing it again, SERIES 2, AVAILABLE RIGHT NOW, Mr Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social.
Approximately six hours later, Mr Trump said all of his 47,000 digital trading cards sold out, totalling $4.6m.
But the actual value of the trading cards told a different story as the floor price dropped from 0.42945 ETH to 0.18 ETH within 24 hours according to OpenSea.
