Nationwide cellphone service outage impacting AT&T customers, other carriers
Source: NBC 10 Philadelphia
Several cellular services providers in the U.S. appeared to be experiencing outages Thursday morning, according to the outage tracking site Downdetector.
AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon customers began reporting issues with their services around 3 a.m. ET Thursday. There are also network issues with Cricket, Consumer Cellular, Boost Mobile and other regional services.
A spokesman for Verizon told NBC News that they don't see any issues on their network and believes the problem is with other carriers. Verizon customers are only having issues when trying to call a number that is associated with one of the impacted carriers.
NBC reached out to AT&T and T-Mobile and did not immediately hear back.

I told my daughter I will never remember all of the panic changes I made this morning
Hope you get your service back. I got 3 messages about the outage about 1 PM EST, each about the outage.

I went to the store to try to figure out what was going on. I thought I might have had trouble with my AT&T account or that something was the matter with my phone settings. (I literally was working on my phone settings and was struggling to set up my Samsung Cloud and had just done a reset when all of a sudden, my phone couldn't find a network)
I left when they said it was due to an outage.

They accidentally chaulked and filled our landline jack last year. I had the LL for emergencies. I was pissed when the idiot filled it with drywall repair goop.
