(5,077 posts)3 years ago I fainted and bumped my head on my garage floor........
This put me in the hospital for 2 weeks (10 days in ICU). Then there was the PCS (post concussion syndrome) that lasted for months.
All & all it was a BIG BUMMER!

(8,747 posts)I wouldn't be surprised if she's suffering from exhaustion. She really looks tired and drawn in her latest pictures.

(20,876 posts)Mrs. Clinton is not looking well. I think the stress of the job she has is taking a huge toll on her.
Get well soon!!

(205,517 posts)I've answered to it for almost 10 years, here on DU, but it was actually the name of my beloved cat. I also had a wonderful dog named Sara, another Stevie Nicks song.
Welcome to DU, Bob Sacamano! It's great to have you with us!
She is like a cat in the dark
And then she is the darkness
She rules her life like a fine skylark
And when the sky is starless

(5,722 posts)I had a similar experience 2 years ago and was on restricted duty for a year due to post-concussion symptoms (dizziness, headaches, etc). It can take a long time to recover.

(13,616 posts)I know many are unhappy with the whole secstate crap (though I will admit I hated Rice because of her hawkishness), but this does drive home that we need to give Hill a rest, even if, and especially if, she runs 2016.

(11,464 posts)the other candidates should not even bother.
BTW-the flu this year is bad, real bad...so everyone should always get their flu shots and pnemonia shots.
Age has nothing to do with this, a 20 year old can get dehydrated too.
Many tennis players and football players do.
Drink plenty of fluids and always have a little snack ready (even if just some crackers or some apples and oranges handy.

(6,665 posts)Announcing an illness and accident also likely puts her political future at grave risk. I can't imagine why she would fabricate it.

(30,250 posts)When I hear of head injuries I'm always reminded of Natasha Richardson. If she fainted and had a concussion, why wasn't she taken to a hospital for a CAT scan? The doctors may be monitoring her, but can they see through her skull? I hope that she's going to be OK.
Best wishes for a full recovery, Hillary.
