George W. Bush Bikes With Injured Vets, Reflects On White House Decisions, Life After The Presidency
Source: Huff Post
CRAWFORD, Texas -- George W. Bush had been riding his mountain bike for almost four hours, and he was out of gas.
I was 12 riders behind the former president as we cycled, single file, along a winding trail cut through Bush's 1,500-acre ranch. We had been riding almost nonstop, in 90-degree heat, for 30 miles, over terrain that was at times technical, challenging and potentially hazardous. Rocky sections delivered a pounding to both bike and rider. Roots threatened to upend us. At one point, a narrow path along a ridge line dropped off steeply to the right, 50 to 75 feet to the gorge below. Bush had called the section "hairy."

Marvel at his clueless. . .gaze into the mind of the brainless. . .
He starts a fire that engulfs a world militarily and economically, then leaves and goes to play. I am so glad this asshole is gone from the White House.
BTW, he still has the stupid habit of calling people nicknames. "Heh, heh. . .you're a big guy. I'm going to call you big guy!"

(12,471 posts)Just because people in Floraduh can't count, doesn't mean that we got what we deserved.
We got a moron appointed by The Supremes, WITHOUT Diana Ross!
We deserve an ELECTED president. The RepubliCONs dirty tricks won, and they had the deck stacked in their favor, because they marked the cards!

(8,515 posts)We lost Ohio, Ill, Virginia......Florida should never have been that close in the first place!
People had plenty of time to figure out that this guy was a first class idiot...But they ignored the reality of the situation....
Our Country as a whole placed George W, Bush in the White House..Our Country as a whole deserves what it got...It should have never come down to Florida...

(51,122 posts)In the modern age, there isn't much difference between Nader, Ron Paul, and Sarah Palin.
Oh, except one of these scammers did massive long term damage to us all.

(12,618 posts)Nader of making their iphone die, but Nader was definitely responsible for the 2000 loss. And he's been nothing but a useless whiner ever since. So fuck him.

(4,875 posts)Let the supreme court, a spineless Gore and the corrupt Florida Republican party all off the hook. No wonder this party can't get anything done. What a joke.

THAT'S your legacy. Understand?
We don't give a shit what you say anymore. You are a proven liar. We don't care what you do anymore. You can do nothing, now, to undo the pain and the horror you have visited upon humanity.
You're DONE. You got that?
DONE.
Get lost, you POS.

(12,508 posts)Bush and Cheney are now and will forever be totally responsible for those horrible wars, deaths, and financial ruin of our country. Obama is working straight uphill to bring it back and doing pretty well.

(25,415 posts)History is there to be examined as a reminder of the mistakes we as a country make. You don't learn , you are doomed to repeat. 2000 stands out as one of the craziest elections of our time. Lots of stuff that went down in Florida started us on a downward path. Not sure why anyone would want to shove that aside to forget about it.

(55 posts)The underlying psychological import of Bush using nicknames is not just to remember the person (which it does do) but a power thing. Should he want to use a nickname with me, I'd say "Yeah, that's a great nickname. Mine for you is 'Idiot'"
