State Dept. Pushes Back on Report of Prostitutes, Cover-ups

Source: ABC News

By KIRIT RADIA and DANA HUGHES
June 11, 2013

The State Department is strongly denying allegations from a former department investigator who claimed top officials tried to halt or delay several potentially damaging investigations.

Aurelia Fedenisn, the whistle-blowing former investigator, also claimed that when the department's Office of Inspector General tried to expose the interference in a report, that language was scrubbed.

A senior State Department official offered a point-by-point pushback in response to an internal Office of Inspector General memo dated Oct. 23, 2012, obtained by ABC News, that detailed eight investigations by the investigative arm of the department's Bureau of Diplomatic Security.

Well, it appears that another "scandal" bites the dust. Darn, thwarted by the truth once again, what will they come up with next?

They want to thwart Obama's agenda and block Hillary from being a viable candidate in 2016. They can't win the honorable way, so they are trying to do to this administration what they did to Bill Clinton in the 90s.

I just think it's a bit of a stretch, even for the RW, to blame Hillary and Obama for SS and DSS agents hiring hookers. That has been going on ever since the agencies were created and since men roamed the earth. They don't call prostitution the oldest profession for nothing.

Like this nugget: "Let's not forget that she's a senator and a presidential candidate because her husband messed around". After the debate in Philly: "You can tell that Bill keeps her on a tight leash" (Tim Russert visibly cringed at that comment). Some of the things he has called her: "She Devil", "Nurse Ratched", "Madame Defarge".

Sexist bastard!!!!!

If I ever get the chance to talk to him I have a few things I want to say to him.

BTW, he now loves Hillary. I think that he acts around her like the kid who wants the most popular girl in class to pay attention to him and acts like a jerk to try to get her to notice him. I remember this exchange and how he checked her butt as she passed by.

But he's always had this love-hate thing about her. He gets these "men crushes" and loses all perspective. He wanted Obama to be the nominee in 2008 (remember the embarrassing comment about his tingling leg?), so he crapped on Hillary at every opportunity. Now he wants her to be the nominee.

Whatever, I can't stand him and I don't watch his program.

It's a two prong attack. They are attacking Obama on one flank and Hillary on the other. They want to block Obama and the Democrat's agenda. They also fear Hillary in 2016 more than any other Democratic politician. They don't even know whether she will run in and they are already trying to destroy her. That says something about how much they are afraid of her.

To find any kind of dirt on Hillary Clinton but they will need something a lot better than this to gain any traction. But fear not, Jim DeMint has called on all Republicans to focus exclusively on scandal so expect a lot more of this at least through 2014 and probably beyond.

The U.S. embassy in Brussels sits on a 32-acre park that is also the site of the Royal Palace of Brussels and the Belgian parliament. Who wouldn't want to take a walk in that beautiful park?

issues in this country, than the rightwing Republicans and corporate media looking for sex scandals. Everything else is blowing up in their faces, and now they resort to looking under rocks for sex scandals. They are very consistant. This script has been played before. They need to stick to their scandals that already exist, like Benghanzi, the IRS and Surveilance scandals. All three are blowing up in their faces. The problem with the Surveillance scandals, the rightwing and corporate media can't get any agreement on that scandal. The rightwing Republicans are split on that one.

and not like the others at all.

There will be investigations and more info to follow. I hope there is nothing to it - especially the charge of pedophilia. You can't get more serious that that shit. The Hooker stuff is bland porridge compared, but sex with minors and drug trafficking, well that is sort of serious.

Don't be so quick to dismiss this and treat it like all the other crap non scandals of late.
