N.H. Lawmaker Resigns After Alleging Gov’t Planned Boston Marathon Bombings

Source: TPM

CATHERINE THOMPSON 8:06 AM EDT, FRIDAY JUNE 21, 2013

A Hew Hampshire state representative resigned Thursday after alleging that the Boston Marathon bombing was a government conspiracy, WMUR reported.

State Rep. Stella Tremblay (R) sent in her letter of resignation to the New Hampshire House of Representatives a day after she sent an e-mail blast to colleagues with links to Boston Marathon bombing conspiracy blogs and videos.

"Have you seen ANY main stream media doing a follow-up on these stories? I have not. I just connect the dots," wrote Tremblay in the e-mail, according to WMUR. "Apparently, it is very dangerous to seek truth, or ask questions."

Tremblay first floated her theory that the marathon bombings were planted by the government to sideline civil liberties in April. Her colleagues in the House responded by voting to fully rebuke her remarks.

and there is something about committing treason or sedition in the rule books too

see how spies in ww2 were handled by FDR and Truman (who's name is brought up a lot, but some things are not remembered, same with Lincoln too. Only lesser things get mentioned with this president

of the First Amendment.

Let's start with "you can't yell fire in a non burning theatre".

That example (which contained the word "falsely&quot was given in what most progressives (but apparently not you) would regard as one of the worst First Amendment decisions of all time: the Schenck case in which the court held that it was constitutional for the government to impose criminal penalties on someone who distributed flyers opposing the draft during WWI. That decision and its reasoning was overturned decades later in the Brandenburg case, which made clear that the standard for assessing when the government may restrict speech is whether it is designed to foment immiment lawless action. As stupid as the folks who circulate conspiracy theory memos may be (whether they be about the Boston bombing, 9-11, or the moon landing) they don't come anywhere near meeting that test.

As for treason, its been pointed out many times that the Constitution (a document with which you seem frighteningly unfamiliar) has a very specific definition and in no way could circulating a memo suggesting that the Boston bombings were a government plot -- as stupid as that suggestion is -- be considered actionable treason. Or sedition. Or anything other than protected speech.

Finally, I would very much like to see some more detail regarding your statement "see how spies in ww2 were handled by FDR". I'm not sure what you are referring to specifically. Hopefully it's not FDR's treatment of thousands of Japanese American citizens who were guilty of nothing more than being Japanese American citizens. But with you, one can never tell.

I think what you said should be punishable by jail time.

Six of one, half a dozen of other, you see... and both as absurd as the other.

unlike most of the DC lawmakers.

I don't like her "the government did it" attitude, but there are still too many holes in the Boston Bombing story. This needs to be said.

On July 10th Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (the man who was quickly made by the media into the most hated man in America) will have the first opportunity to tell HIS story. Will be interesting to watch.

Here's how it really went down:

Obama shapeshifted into QE2 next to her. This is how Obama makes world leaders bow to his will, when he hasn't replaced them outright. Obama is at the top of the food chain.

No one is safe. Obama can be anyone, everywhere.

In their defense, our reptilian overlords are carnivores, but not cannibals. Aliens, particularly immortal ones, like Obama, do have standards.

Sorry, we're all on the menu. Always have been. She's been eaten and replaced by a shapeshifter.

You must believe in the Truth©!!!11!1!!! if you want to survive. Otherwise, you'll be mutton.

What has been seen, cannot be unseen.

And vet the candidates. Crazy people often do have energy and they get in because no one pays attention.
