Reports: Adrian Peterson's Son Dies from Injuries

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson’s 2-year-old son has died from injuries suffered during a reported assault by his mother's boyfriend.

Adrian Peterson's father Nelson Peterson confirmed Friday with the Pioneer Press that the boy was the son of Adrian Peterson.

I may be Democrat and mostly Liberal but when you hurt a child, any child through intent to harm and that child dies, you die. There is nothing anyone can tell me that would make me change my mind. The type of person that could kill a two year old child provides not positive benefits to society.

According to the story, the child was assaulted by his mother's (i.e. Adrian Peterson's former girlfriend's) boyfriend.

Adrian Peterson's mother is not involved.
