Bill O’Reilly to interview President Obama during Super Bowl pregame show

Source: New York Daily News

FOX News host Bill O’Reilly will interview President Obama during the FOX’s Super Bowl pregame show.

O’Reilly will conduct the interview at the White House before the NFL championship game being held in New Jersey on Sun., Feb. 2. The Seattle Seahawks will face off against the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII.

It will mark the third time the conservative cable personality has interviewed the President. A longer version of their conversation will air the day after the game on O'Reilly's cable show.

It's a tradition for the President to sit for a chat before the annual Sunday football fest, with a rep from the network broadcasting the game.

Obama should make a rule ahead of time that he can not be interrupted.

It's demeaning to the president of the United States to be rudely interrupted.

I think O"Reilly thinks of his interruptions like a killer who puts notches in his gun.

In 2012, Obama was the top recipient of campaign contributions from News Corp pac and employees.

O'Reilly is the most visible Fox News personality, unlike Special Report anchor Bret Baier or White House reporter Ed Henry who could have interviewed the president too. This is to get people to tune in before kickoff. That is why Today host Matt Lauer interviewed the president (if I recall correctly) back in '09 for NBC's Super Bowl pregame, rather than David Gregory (Meet the Press host) or Chuck Todd (the political director and WH correspondent).

O'Reilly had a rabid christian guest on very recently who was savvy enough to not call Obama the anti-christ directly but fudged it by saying that Obama was paving the way for the anti-christ.

O'Reilly was vaguely in agreement whereas intelligent people would have laughed the "guest" off the set.

Since Fox is carrying the Super Bowl this year Fox could have had Ed Henry do a real interview with the president. But ratings, ratings, ratings. Bill O'Reilly is an attention-seeking ideologue.

I tend to think it's the latter. The President wants to make sure there's a long record of his attempts at being broad-minded and tolerant. Which is a good thing, in the abstract....but when dealing with Republicans it's just plain delusional.

at this year's Kennedy Center Honors? When watching it I was like WTF? All these liberals receiving these honors and they choose O'Reilly to present? His supposed jokes went over like a lead balloon and it was clear that he was only being tolerated by the audience, but not exactly well-received.

Only my impression.

Some of us will though and it should be a blast.
Peckerheads like o'Really doesn't intimidate me at all as I see through him like he was a pane of glass and those who don't won't really matter either as there is no getting to them anyway. Stupid can't be fixed
