MH370 passengers' relatives protest in China

Source: aljazeera

Relatives of Chinese passengers on board Flight MH370 scuffled with security personnel as they descended on Malaysia's embassy in a rare protest, weeping as they demanded answers on the crashed plane.

"Return our relatives," around 200 family members cried on Tuesday at the gates of the Beijing mission, which was protected by a row of uniformed police and plain clothes security.

The protest came hours after Malaysia's prime minister announced that the plane crashed in the Indian Ocean after vanishing from civilian radar screens on March 8 with 239 people on board.

The Malaysian government and Malaysia Airlines have been criticised on social media platforms, especially in China, over the lack of physical evidence to support the Prime Minister Najib Razak's somber announcement.

5. The lack of physical evidence (so far) is not a complete lack of forensic evidence.

I thought it was pretty resourceful to examine the Doppler shift in the engine-to-satellite transmissions to rule out the northern route.

Left with the southern route as the only other alternative, the plane goes down in the drink at a hopelessly remote location in the Indian Ocean.

What will these families ask for once they are finally confronted with physical debris from the plane?

Human remains are recycled by nature so quickly. Especially at sea.

I just hope it doesn't get violent. The Chinese Government has been known to use nationalism to start violent clashes against other county's embassies.

'Last joyride': MH370 pilot upset over wife's decision to move out and in 'no state of mind to be flying' says long-time friend
MH370 pilot devastated over his marriage breakdown

A close friend has described Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah as in 'no state of mind to be flying'
The same friend warns he might have taken MH370 on a 'last joyride'
Follows reports the doomed flight climbed to 43,000ft moments before disappearing from radar
It stayed at that altitude for 23 minutes, but oxygen would have run out after just 12 minutes
Expert says plane would have then flown on until it ran out of fuel
The news comes as authorities continue their efforts to locate debris 2,500kms off Australia's west coast
The families of victims of MH370 are expected to start arriving in Perth
