About three-quarters of Republicans who obtained health insurance under Obamacare are satisfied with their coverage, according to a survey published Thursday by the Commonwealth Fund.
The survey found that 74 percent of Republicans said they were very or somewhat satisfied with their new coverage. Overall, 78 percent of Americans said they were satisfied: 73 percent of those enrolled in a private plan and 84 percent of those enrolled in Medicaid.
There was a minimal difference between the previously uninsured and the previously insured: 79 percent of the former were satisfied and 77 percent of the latter were, according to the survey by the group, which is generally supportive of Obamacare.
Those surveyed also reported being better off: 58 percent said that they were better off now than they were before, while 9 percent said they were worse off. And 81 percent said that they were optimistic that their new coverage would help them get the health care they need.

(21,139 posts)But sadly she will vote for a republican in 2014 because the Democratic party candidates are communists. She is struggling in A $10 hour job and believes employers have a right to make big profits. She and her adult children have brought into the right to work for less crap in Arizona and think working 2 low paying jobs to make ends meet mean they are not takers.
that your sister in law is not smart enough to vote her own self interest. Hopefully her adult children will be there to provide for her when she can no longer work.

(21,139 posts)She has 4 kids and not one went to college. They all just live paycheck to paycheck. No savings etc. My sister in law and her kids if she continues to support republican policies will probably not have social security for them in old age if the republicans get their way in the future. You know it is their wet dream to get rid of social security, it's on the Koch Bros. hit list. And when I tell them this they say I don't know what I'm talking about. They accept Fox and Rush talking points like it's the truth.

What does your spouse think about this given she's his family?
Sorry if I'm prying too much, but I find this interesting.
