Survey: US gas prices fall 9 cents to $3.58

CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) — A national survey finds the average U.S. price of regular-grade gasoline has plummeted 9 cents a gallon over the past two weeks to $3.58.

That's the largest drop this year.

Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg said Sunday the decrease came despite a rise in crude-oil prices.

Lundberg says U.S. refiners, enjoying plentiful supplies, aggressively cut wholesale prices to chase sales.

8. I live in far eastern Ventura County on the LA County border.

Paid $3.99 yesterday in Camarillo on my way to Santa Barbara - cheaper than the $4.09 near me. Gas prices are always higher than average in this area.

9. We get our gas at Costco...hasn't reached $4.00 yet...at $3.76 there the other day....

The stations in Camarillo get a lot of the 101 off ramp travelers...oh, yeah and those traveling to the Outlet

People here are grateful of the price drop. They don't realize they are still being suckered.
