Palin: I'll 'Hopefully' Run for Political Office Again, To Annoy 'Haters'

Source: NBC

Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin won a fresh round of headlines Tuesday for saying that she “hopefully” will run for office again soon so that she can continue to annoy “haters.”

Asked during an interview on the Fox Business Channel if “hatred” towards her from critics has driven her out of political life, the onetime Alaska governor said that opponents actually have the opposite effect on her ambitions.

“No, bless their hearts, those haters out there. They don't understand that it invigorates me, it wants me to get out there and defend the innocent. It makes me want to work so hard for justice in this country,” she said. “So hey, the more they are pouring on, the more I'm gonna bug the crap out of them by being out there with the voice, with the message, hopefully running for office in the future too.”

Palin appeared to toy with a presidential run in 2011, even launching a bus tour that was raptly followed by national media. That speculation ultimately ended without a presidential bid, with Palin telling supporters “you don’t need a title to make a difference in this country.”

On the other hand, primary debates would be Must See TV.

Palin trying to speak in complete and understandable sentences (I would be in favor of letting her wear a huge foam fan mitt, so she could write a LOT of stuff on it.

Perry assuming his glasses actually do make him more intelligent. Let's give him a foam mitt to write the names of the agencies he will cut on it, too.

Christie yelling at the other contenders to just shut the fuck up.

Rubio wearing one of those beer can hats, only with bottled water, sucking water through a straw and pretending no one can see.

Jebbie looking smug and bored, refusing to explain anything because he is a Bush.

The possibilities are endless. Funny stuff, but one of those clowns might actually be President, even though there is no presidential material there at all.

PAC must be low on funds after her family's front lawn brawl. I am willing to bet that a few people got paid off for their video footage out of her PAC. It's not like she's actually donating to candidates with it.

Every time she says this and doesn't run, people donate less and less. I wonder what office she could run for? If she runs for a state office the ads would be plentiful about being a quitter. There is no way she would win a national office.

it will be a fun side show to watch.

once upon a time, she used to really irate me. that was mostly due to the concept that she was that close to being our VP. Fortunately, our nation had an unusual bout of sanity and elected a human being rather than anger trolls.

now, she has completely devolved into cartoon. (especially in light of the recent bristol cream meltdown and beatdown, when she went all drunk crazy back in methland.)

I will truly enjoy her newest foray into the political area.

if her past deeds are any indication of her future prospects, we should all be witness to comedy gold.

Although I seriously doubt Palin has any intention of running as even her primary challengers would be lining up to remind voters that she quit half-way through her last elected office to pursue media fame.

The only way she'll run is if the GOP basically hands her the nomination and I'm not sure what race that would be. She has no chance of winning another office in Alaska and she can forget any chance at POTUS.

Through the invisible tinfoil hat with its one-way impermeable membrane (keeping OUT everything that might seep IN and start making a little sense in the world of reality, and allowing to flow out - all the poisons and toxins and opportunistic infections that spawn from the vestige of that itty bitty, shrunken, shriveled lizard brain in there).

At least with Cousin It, you didn't have his face in-yer-face all the time because all you saw was a full-length shroud of hair, and as I recall, he didn't say much either, so you didn't have to have your eardrums split by that squeaky scratchy squawking voice that she has - with which she noise-pollutes us on a regular basis.
