Shop windows, Christmas tree vandalized during Oakland protest

Source: Oakland Tribune

OAKLAND -- Several dozen people marched through downtown Oakland Thursday night to protest recent police killings.

Demonstrators reportedly smashed store windows, vandalized the Christmas tree at Jack London Square and set a metal trash bin on fire. We want a peaceful March like breaking store front glass.

Can someone explain to me what the anarchists want and and what they would do if they got what they want.
