Police: Young sisters charged in brother's fatal shooting
By JASON DEAREN, Associated Press | January 7, 2015 | Updated: January 7, 2015 12:14pm

WHITE SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) — With help from her younger sister, a 15-year-old girl fatally shot her older brother with a gun that their parents had locked up while they were away, and then the pair took off from the home, authorities in Florida said Wednesday.

Law enforcement officials said they discovered the body of the 16-year-old brother late Monday night at the family's single-story home in rural White Springs in north Florida.

The 15-year-old's sister, age 11, assisted in the shooting but didn't pull the trigger, sheriff's spokesman Murray Smith said. The older girl got the gun from a room that her parents had locked, Smith said.

But a motive for the shooting, in the town of fewer than 800 people on the banks of the Suwannee River, remained unclear Tuesday. "There's no real rhyme or reason to it," Smith told The Gainesville Sun (http://bit.ly/17idcYY ).

if this girl had been abused in other events and whether they were more serious events. A dysfunctional family usually has multiple layers of hellish circumstances...

Been there, dealt with that.

Ignoring that kind of problem means the resolution will be very messy....

and that was my first thought as well, that the brother (I believe he was a step brother) was molesting at least one of the girls and perhaps both.

and the younger one is 11 which would be old enough to realize what was happening .

and how it was kind of planned out.

A 15-year-old girl who fatally shot her 16-year-old brother suffered years of abuse, including being locked in a room for weeks at a time with only a blanket and a bucket to use the bathroom, according to police reports and interviews.

(snip)

The girls' mother told police that they often locked the 15-year-old girl up when she misbehaved. The longest they kept her locked in her room was 20 consecutive days, the father told police.

In the girl's room, police found only a blanket and a bucket filled with urine in the closet.

"It was learned that (the 15-year-old girl) has made past attempts at ending her life but neither law enforcement nor (emergency management services) was notified," police wrote in their report.

Crazy misuse of sacred texts helps dirty-minded morons justify their horrible behavior to their families--their belongings as they are taught.
