NASCAR driver accused of assault says ex is trained assassin

Source: WBAY, ABC affiliate in Green Bay, Wisconsin

DOVER, Del. (AP) – The NASCAR driver known as “The Outlaw” said he believes his ex-girlfriend is a trained assassin who was dispatched on covert missions around the world once returned to him in a blood-splattered gown.

Kurt Busch appeared in court again Tuesday over Patricia Driscoll’s request for a no-contact order.

But in an interview late Tuesday, Driscoll called Busch’s assertion “ludicrous,” saying he took it “straight from a fictional movie script” she has been working on for eight years and that he has proofread.

Driscoll has said Busch assaulted her in his motorhome at Dover International Speedway last fall, grabbing her by the throat and slamming her head into a wall three times. Busch and his attorneys have denied the allegations, which are the subject of a separate criminal investigation.

I think Kurt Busch is a little dizzy from driving around in circles.

This guy has quite a history - he nearly got himself essentially "blackballed" from NASCAR a few years back. He had turned into such an incorrigible dickhead that literally no team wanted to hire him and nobody wanted to work with him. I think it was Tony Stewart that finally threw him a lifeline and gave him another shot. One might think it would have made him reflect on why so many people couldn't stand him, but he apparently decided to double down on his ass-clownishness, at least when it came to his personal relationships.

Didn't want to come out and ask because I was afraid I might catch a "massive heart attack" or some other such life-ending situation.

I was initially suspicious of her violin case, which she never let me look at - it was locked - but I NEVER saw or heard her play it.

I was afraid to break up with her so I secretly pulled up while she was "on assignment" and moved across the country and changed my name.

Dick Sniffen is his minister? Is his lawyer named Heywood Jablowme?

I would expect a professional assassin would be quite capable of defending herself, and then some.

This guy is nucking futs.

So I have a question about this guy's sense of machismo or flat out ignorance...

So he says the woman is a trained assassin... and he tries to manhandle her? Either he's a complete idiot or he was trying to (manspalinin machismo excuse for doing something absolutely ignorant) "put her in her place" with physical abuse? Stupid no matter how you look at it, he sounds too much like Trayvon Martin's assassin.

What a Maroon!

Not only does tolerating his domestic violence make NASCAR look bad, but allowing a driver on the track who is obviously delusional is a danger to every other competitor out there. Bush has gotten away with far too much already, he needs to go.
