One by One, Protesters Interrupt Supreme Court Over Citizens United Case

Source: New York Times

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court was disrupted Wednesday morning by a protest denouncing the justices’ decision in Citizens United. It was the fifth anniversary of that ruling, which allowed unlimited political spending by corporations and unions.

Shortly after the justices took their seats on the bench at 10 a.m., a woman rose in the back of the courtroom and yelled, “Overturn Citizens United.” She was hustled from the room.

Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. seemed to take the disruption in stride. “Our second order of business this morning —” he started to say, but he was interrupted as another protester rose, followed, one by one, by at least four more.

The group of persons/protestors, are part of the 99Rise organization (pic below); which is based upon Kai Newkirk's heretofore famous protest at the United States Supreme Court. Their sole purpose is to draw attention to the issue of Citizen's United and get the manifest injustice of that case overturned.

It is heartwarming - instills hope and draws attention to a SERIOUS troubling matter.

Everyone laughed at me when I told them Mitt's running again.

No one believes me when I scream he's going to steal this election.

Once he does - it will be WAY too late to protest then!

I',m just sayin.....

that will not happen just because of that.
But they do it for you, to convince you that you should join them. And if enough joined them then they can convince them to change it.

But as long as we are all afraid to risk anything they will always arrest any troublemakers and go right back to what they were doing.
I suspect that is why our media tries to create so much fear...people can be controlled by it.

NBC frame CU as " controversial". Fuckers are the chief beneficiary of the flood of cash. Not credible media source on the issue.
The mainstream media is no longer mainstream, they are not longer guardians of democracy.

Recent decision by upper courts affirmed that Bloggers are consider to have protection as free press.

Granted - currently - there's NO standard rating agency (such as a S&P on integrity/quality of msm and/or blogs)

Be that as it may - we get the news out there much more true - than main streams ever do!

Because "professionals" (as you surely can NOT call main stream) - SELL OUT.

They ain't pure

them that if they want to get a hard-core Federalist Society piece of shit through, they'd better think again.

Tell them you would appreciate a heads-up as to who they had in mind. If they show you someone who would fuck us for decades (a la Citizens United), you tell them that the agenda is too busy for that person for the next five years.

If they show you someone relatively centrist (even if right-leaning), you thank them, tell them you'll help them out, and you get it done.

This is real easy stuff, by the way.
