Just to make it clear: I hate, hate, hate, HATE Bibi Netanyahu!

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Violet_Crumble (a host of the Editorials & Other Articles group).

I deem him a thug, a fascist, a borderline Nazi. (Yeah, I said that!) I see little if any difference between his government's present-day treatment of Palestinians and the German government's treatment of Jews in the 1930s, pre-WWII, pre-Holocaust: Constant harrassment, restricted movement, destruction of homes and businesses, as well as massive overreation to a thrown rock, for fuck sakes!

If this be "anti-semitism," then, by all means color me with that fading, overused, increasingly-meaningless marker. See, I'm an America-Firster!

If I might be so bold, I would suggest that the policies of a foreign leader about to be fellated---oops, sorry---feted by our Congress would be a relevant subject, especially since we're paying him $3,000,000,000 per year.

The SOP for this forum says: 'No posts about Israel/Palestine, religion, guns, showbiz, or sports unless there is really big news.'

It's fine to post in GD (not in Good Reads) that Netanyahu's an extremist thug and a fascist, as most DUers will strongly agree, but not the Nazi comparisons. Oh, and no I/P. Hope that helps.
