I knew some of that stuff, but by no means all. Periodically people absolutely freak out (often here on DU) and start hyper-ventilating over a coming hyperinflation. That page REALLY shows how dumb people are to believe that. The circumstances that led to Germany's hyperinflation have no parallel today.

Sciences and technology in the beginning of XX century were developing at a fast pace: radio, electricity, cinematograph, automobiles Millions of Europeans could hardly catch up with the swift scientific and technological advance and they were unable to surmise that something threatens their lives.
