Between the banks and the corporate government contractors, by the end of the Civil war, corporations were pretty much in control of our government. From the civil war on, in our fascist arrangement (long before the term fascist even became part of the lexicon), corporations were controlling our government, and not the other way around.
And I can find nothing in our history to ever suggest that this arrangement changed since then. During FDR’s tenure, we probably came as close as we ever have to some significant regulation of our corporations.

I like the approach of Dr. Richard Wolffe, but with a twist. I don’t necessarily buy the argument yet that capitalism has run its course, but I do like his idea of co-ops. But what are co-ops really? For the most part they are non-profit corporations. Non-profit corporations, if they replaced for-profit corporations, could really prevent for-profit corporations from taking over governments and acquiring the kind of globalist power that makes nation states powerless to do anything about them. Non-profit corporations do a pretty good job of ensuring that the money that would go to shareholders, go instead to the employees and to making upgrades within the company. And they usually do better serving their customers and clients. Non-profit corporations could put an end to our fascist system of government.
Maybe it is time for an abolitionist movement of a different kind. The abolition of the for-profit corporation. And with it we could abolish bank notes as currency and replace them with bills of credit.

hostility: These identify them all well enough, and does really matter all that much what label may seem more appropriate at any particular point? Averaging more far left or far right, or some just indefinable noxious mix, their attack messages don't belong here.
Any word yet on how Hillary miraculously overcame the many fatal diseases she was suffering from last summer? There were hundreds of JPR posts about it, complete with videos of how she couldn't walk in her full body-brace.
And how's that Pizzagate investigation coming along? Any criminal charges yet?
What about Seth Rich's murder by HRC - which Hillary masterminded despite her faltering health? Have the JPR sleuths figured that one out yet?
