Washington Post
President Trump’s surprise decision to rapidly withdraw all U.S. troops from Syria is meeting with intense criticism by foreign policy experts, who denounce it as strategically stupid, reckless for national security and a blow to America’s global credibility.

But inside Syria, the consequences are even more serious. For one example, 50,000 Syrian civilian refugees living under the direct protection of the U.S. military are suddenly fearing for their lives.

If I were in a position of influence there, I'd be talking to people about refusing to follow orders. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the military supposed to follow orders that violate human rights? If there are thousands of Kurds whom Turkey will massacre, thousands of Isis prisoners whom the Kurds have said they will release if we abandon them (negating the dubious claim that Isis in Syria is over),and now 50,000 Syrians who depend on us, I don't see this as a legal order. Does someone know the military code on this?
