Kushner Plans Mexico City Investment Event to Curb Migration

(Bloomberg) -- White House senior adviser Jared Kushner is organizing an investment conference in Mexico City, aiming to pair private money with foreign aid for Central America that his father-in-law President Donald Trump froze as punishment for the region’s uncontrolled migration to the U.S.

Planners hope to hold the conference in late March or April, according to four people familiar with the matter. The event would also involve the governments of Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador pledging to enact unspecified business-friendly policies, according to one of the people.

The people asked not to be identified because the conference hasn’t been announced.

The White House’s hope is that fresh investment and aid to the three countries would serve as both reward for their governments’ cooperation with Trump’s push to stem the flow of migrants and incentive for citizens of the region to stay in their home countries. It’s also an attempt to re-frame the provision of U.S. foreign aid, an expenditure Trump has often dismissed as wasteful.

at least a Century. Every corporation you’ve heard from anywhere in the world of has international headquarters there. Mexico City has as many businesses as New York City. It among the largest cities in the world. It has what every other major city in the world has.

This is just propaganda. Lies. American businesses have moved their factories to Mexico to get away from having to pay American salaries.

Maybe Kushner wants to make deals to move more businesses to Mexico. That’ll leave even more people in poverty here.

Mexico City? Jared really is a "smart kid" as Donnie Dump said. He is in charge of pardons (for his father), Middle East peace, re-election campaigns. It boggles the mind. Maybe he is simply volunteering for all these jobs, to keep away from Ivanka? Maybe Don the Con is sending him on these trips, to free Ivanka up for himself?
