Instead of vaccine passports, issue mandatory 'I'M SELFISH!' T-shirts to those who refuse shots

by Rex Huppke

I would love a COVID-19 vaccine passport. After more than a year in full or partial quarantine, I’m so happy to be vaccinated I want to get the words “FULLY” and “VAXXED” tattooed on my butt and run naked through the streets. (Don’t worry, I won’t. America has suffered enough.)

Unfortunately … sorry, that’s a side effect of the Pfizer vaccine … unfortunately, vaccine pride is not as prevalent as it should be, and a sizable swath of the population prefers to poo-poo the one thing that can lead us out of a pandemic that has killed more than 550,000 Americans.

On Wednesday, President Joe Biden announced that at least one shot has already gone in the arms of more than half of all U.S. adults. More than 80% of citizens 65 and older will be fully or partially vaccinated by Thursday.

“This is an American achievement, a powerful demonstration of unity and resolve, what unity will do for us, and a reminder of what we can accomplish when we pull together as one people to a common goal,” Biden said.

which I immediately stuck on my purse under my "I VOTED" sticker. We need to put some serious peer pressure on our fellow citizens.

celebration. All the people had pom poms that they were shaking to lead the patients through the maze of places to go for the vaxx process.

I have to get 32 shots of Botox into my scalp every 3 months for daily migraines and compared to those shots it was literally no pain. Just getting blood drawn for a test hurts a ton more. They must have very skinny needles for the vaccines. The worst part for me was trying to find the place since I have no sense of direction, even with Google Maps, etc. I ended up at the Miramar Landfill. Figures. The people working there sent me on the right path since I was not the first to end up there by mistake. Man, it was stinky.

I either saw or read a statement that I thought was relevant a few days ago...

"Just get the da..ned shot, I want to go to the movies." I'm thinking about getting the bumper sticker.

I believe that those of us who have been vaccinated should be able to intermingle in a movie theater. To heck with those that refuse the shot. I'm not a hateful person, but if they want to be infected, let them be infected. That may well be the only way to convince others to go ahead and get the shot.
